Free Legal Advice for Businesses and Nonprofits

PACE Business Development Center announced this week a valuable and FREE resource available to you! The USC Law Small Business Clinic (SBC) which provides free corporate legal services to small businesses and entrepreneurs is currently accepting applications for projects starting January, 2011.  The SBC provides basic corporate legal assistance to small businesses, entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations that cannot afford to pay market rates for legal services. Typical projects handled by the SBC include: counseling on the selection of an appropriate business structure; forming and organizing corporations and LLCs; drafting shareholder agreements; and simple contract drafting.
