The SBDC hosted by Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Center (PCR) serves the Greater Los Angeles and Greater San Gabriel Valley areas.  They provide workshops and one-on-one advising to business owners at a cost.  They provide technical assistance in finance, marketing, international trade, operations, social media, emerging technology, and more.  I have used them and if you are starting out they are a great resource.
