For The Gondobay Manga Foundation (TGMF) I acted as interim Executive Director. Advising and training Founder and Board of Directors on roles, responsibilities and established job description. I provided the necessary leadership to Board of Directors and lead strategic planning. Currently I advise the Founder and Executive Director. In addition, I perform all aspects of bookkeeping to maintain the organization’s nonprofit status.
TGMF, is inspired by founder Isaiah Washington’s discovery of his direct genetic link to the Mende people of Sierra Leone,The Gondobay Manga Foundation advocates cooperative planning to achieve positive, timely improvements in the lives of the people of Sierra Leone.
This amazing drink has come from an idea to being Whole Foods shelves! I have provided the fiscal management for Gorilla. I keep the books as well as assist the CEO with sales planning based upon fiscal reports I produce. Her leadership is more directed and focused after I came in and cleaned up the back office.
It all began with a very personal mission. Gorilla Life founder Kika Keith’s quest to cure her daughter’s chronic asthma. She had tapped every modern medical resource she could. Hope was slipping away. It was then that grandma Shekinah “Paradise” Shakur took matters into her own hands. Where modern medicine could not provide a solution, maybe Mother Nature would. With her great knowledge of holistic healing, it was decided – chlorophyll to the rescue! Shortly, her granddaughter’s asthmatic attacks had decreased dramatically. Within a year, her system had cleansed and strengthened so much that she was no longer suffering from chronic bouts of asthma. Quickly, the word had spread as others began to experience the same results – Gorilla Life Green Drink worked as an extraordinary healing aid. Gorilla Life Green Drink was born.

I worked for Gail Hawkins, the Owner of Cultural Interiors for a few years. I managed the database and produced a variety of sales reports. In addition, my administrative skills were utilized an a consistent basis, from coordinating a marketing mailer to moving locations, I handled it.
